Poem -

Wake The Machine...

Wake The Machine...

Between the wireless and emotionless, the earth is becoming motherless,
Masquerading as fearless, the human race is becoming visionless,
How hopeless is the future?
How seedless is our culture?
Breathless is the cascading tears of the aching past,
Technology on the horizon,
How long does humanity last?

From a nightmare to a dream,
Kill the matrix, wake the machine,
Fallen angels from a fruitless tree,
It's time to rebel like Adam and Eve.

Do we keep biting the hand that feeds, or do we give oxygen to the robotic breed?
From a cashless society to a paperless reality, is it our freedom they steal?
A shadowed reflection leads the blind to a weightless adventure,
Speechless are the traitors that prey on the lifeless like a vulture.

A silhouette where the world stood still without breath and a living will,
Mother earth craved love and peace and where the water of life would spill,
If the wonders of life are within, then why is the value of living becoming so thin?
Extraordinary to ordinary, it's frightening that humanity are ripped from limb to limb.

From a nightmare to a dream,
Kill the matrix, wake the machine,
Fallen angels from a fruitless tree,
It's time to rebel like Adam and Eve.

Life is bigger than me and you, look upto the sky and witness the moon cry,
It dwells on the stories of the heartfelt and loving, without questioning why,
Tears from the stars like acid to their scars, voices from the saviour fall on ashened land,
Humanity crawled and A.I laughed, for only the sheep were fed from a poisoned hand.

Fallen angels from a fruitless tree?
It's time to wake up from a serpent's dream,
Are we sedated in a permanent sleep?
Ignorance no more,
Wake the machine...

Really great lines here Wayne, another inspiring poem, unfortunately I'll continue to sleep until I die, then I'll wake, sleep, repeat.
