Poem -

Like that......

Flames grow tall and eventually flicker away,
Like that of a rising tide that splashes along the bay.
Clouds take form, but slip away before the storm,
Like that of love, that slowly is consumed into nature’s swarm.

Flowers dance under the sun,
Like that of a new born baby, whose life has just begun.
Wind whispers in your ear,
Like that of small child, sharing a secret so dear.

Night bids you farewell,
Like that of a sailor setting sail.
Stars sparkle and winkle,
Like that of lights that twinkle.

Raindrops fall from an invisible place,
Like that of a rocket that returns from space.
Sadness grows and turns into despair,
Like that of a life that goes unshared.

:) I appreciate all of your praise... it encourages me, as I put my writing on hold for a bit..... thanks for all of the love.
