7 Deadly sins

The seven deadly sins are a powerful force,
they will take you quickly, with no remorse. 
Incase they are something, you might have missed
I have been gracious and made you a list.

Pride is first, I knew you would be thrilled, 
it is the most likely to get a man killed.
To follow only in ones own pleasure,
shows how little he does measure.

Second is envy I think you would agree,
the most commonly broken in society.
Be thankful for what you have, dont covet elsewere,
finding someone who doesnt, is truly rare.

Gluttony is next, a terrible act,
devouring everything in its path.
A gluttenous man will never be freed,
he will get what is coming,  no matter his plead. 

Next is the one that is plagued with denial,
so let's throw Lust onto our sinful pile.
A moment of weakness is all it will take, 
for lust is vengeful, your life it can break.

Here comes wrath stomping through,
a powerful sin committed by you.
Wrath has a price, it will force you to pay,
if you unleash this sin, it will lead you astray.

Next on the list is the sin known as greed, 
cunning and stealthy, on your desires it feeds.
It can consume your soul, in the beat of a heart,
destroy your humanity, and tear you apart.

Sloth is the sin that completes our list,
slouched in the corner, begging to be missed.
Sloth is a sin forgotten by most,
but powerful enough to consume it's host.
