Echoes of Love

The distance is far but are you willing 
Dreams they show your closer then before
Looking for that one special kiss that sits upon my cheek
I see the reaction as you see my face 
Is this romance meant to be 
Have I made the same mistake again in falling
Hiding in the shadows an image of you is fading
In the distance you spoke 
Your words drifted and didn’t make sense 
For what I heard is I love you but can’t do this anymore
Was what you said lost in translation carried by the wind 
Or have I made the same mistake again in falling 
For someone that can’t show affection without
Causing centre of attention for the giving of self perception
