A Becoming Butterfly

A Becoming Butterfly

Hey there hurt Angel with wings a battered sad,
hear glad tidings to all feel good senses.
Seize thy moment, perceive restored trust to
tentatively rack your reach to edge of complications.
Connect to the promise of achievable self amendment.
Banish dark demons of esteem slavery a past
that drag from you chains of false failings,
thus to exist in dark shadows of yesterday's crushing disappointments .
Stand brave for conversion, stroke Pandora's hope.
Smile at the Cosmos and sit in its sunrise, lifting ego
a basking. Explore at your core for an outstretched hand
and let caress of deserving appeasement absolve yourself.
Kick to ground unworthy need ,
throw despondent tears to the Lion's keeper
and only feed animal of own acceptance.
Keep a dream flickering on a now horizon.
Jump to healing slipstream of
opportunities at tomorrow's daybreak.
Measure yourself and others with a balanced hand.
Paint a Rainbow forgiveness to alight rainy storm of self despise.

Suffer no more sad caterpillar
morph to the becoming butterfly and
be the renewed though same
just yourself you
and happily accept it!

wow!  Wendy, that is some kind of beautiful poetry, reminds me of Rudyard Kipling in places near the end, this is a very polished write, enjoyed your clever original phrasing and overall point of view; read like you were handing out some great knowledge to a loved one....'excellence of execution' terrific poem, cheers poet--

Hi Wendy Wow a fantastic poem for me
I see the compassion for some one who is feeling
sad or not good about one self, using the caterpillar
as a metaphor for it
Great write pinning this one
Best wishes Debs x
