A 'Belief' in Christmas"

A 'Belief' in Christmas"

As fading light of November dims
Hark to Advent now begins
Counting down to Christmas Day
thoughts of Jesus in a manger lay

Trimmings to hang upon a tree
Small ones squeal in over hyped glee
Lists to Santa now a cast
days of shopping passing fast

Glitter, Tinsel and Fairy lights
Streets dressed for Yuletide sights
Pupils swell to full amaze
excitement buzzing in wishing for phase

Presents wrapped and Santa bound
Sledge a filled for Universe surround
Good girls and boys in anticipation
for Christmas morning toys to saturation

And on the Eve of desired Xmas cheer
Santa feeds and readies his Reindeer
Stockings hung and children to bed
One more sleep to Festivities ahead

Then once again a new day born
A Celebration Jubilee is dawn
Family and friends to give and receive
Treasuring a Christmas long ago tale to believe

        MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
