A Best Present of Peace and Goodwill"

Hark to hearts for all wishes to be best
Always appraise each moment to exist
Pause not a second to harbour unrest
Peace to the World and may no bitterness persist 
Yield food for all that hunger abates
Count not possessions but folk you can aid
Heed forgiveness so that hate evaporates 
Raise the spirits of all defeated made
Instil no prejudice or grudge to the living
Smile in the face of tomorrow's defiance
Take all received though be ever more giving
Make every second count to the very last chance
And looking to the New Year pray Right will prevail
Sensibility and Fairness to explode so on the wings of Peace we'll all sail!
