A Brothers Trio
Eureka! After 4 years of trying and trying to find the words to write this poem I have finally done it. I wrote it based on the Arthur legend about the 3 knights that go looking for the holy grailÂ
A knightly trio
Began a journey O'er
The many great fields of France.
A merciless task
In search of a flask
Which restored new life to the old.
They were willedÂ
These men so skilled
Determined neverthelessÂ
One who would stay
The most noble and brave
Taking their secret, laid to rest.
And at lengthÂ
Had they lost their strengthÂ
On the journey home to France.
The knight so bold
Yet rather oldÂ
Met with a friar there in a land so fair.
"I confide in you
O man of great truthÂ
For this tale, a story Great.
A riddle here
For all to hear
Is life too pure to be cost?
There through a veil
Beyond the great sealÂ
A sacrifice must be made
The cup that holds life
Much greater than mine
Do not betray that carpenter fair
Or your own life shall be lost."

It did sound much better in my head. I know many of you are probably thinking 4 years? Shouldn't it be much longer? The problem wasnt the length the problem was how to word it it's a bit mediocre for my tastesÂ
Nicely written angel
Thank you. Hoping to rephrase it.Â
