A Burst Inside
In its early burst of self expression, the world sprang
From the very same spirit as the body and mind of man
An enormous explosion contained and demanded
The truth of it all, which had landed inside
With little pomp or circumstance
True to itself alone
Unknown trumpets hailing its approach
The bees began buzzing
A new day was coming but so little
Did we comprehend
That we had no reason to plan
And as we grew through fabulous days
Of wintry nights in our fur lined caves
We learned that Love was within the plan
So we kept it inside, afraid of what it implied
We attempted the big burst again
But this time we compared with competitive eyes
And this time it appeared more than wise
We had already given such mighty effort
We had already beaten back the relentless tides
But the one thing we missed
Throughout all of documented time
Was the face of the creator
Which graced
Our lives
And the pages of our Bibles
With Love's
Sweet perfection,
Making it blatantly
Apparent
That we were missing
Simplicity,
Which was daily painted
In Love's kiss,
And daily represented,
By those kisses
Consistent,
Burst,
Inside...

My Dear Brother Poet Tony,
Most missed the simplicity of life
Yet, in the lovely Chinese screens of a millennium ago
They captured it in art, with the gentle brush strokes of unencumbered flow
Gliding softly
Portraying infinity
Now it is painted in "Love's Kiss"
For God unites His soulmates
To bond for eternity
And relishes His creation
As He watches their "Burst Inside"
