A Canvas for Summer

Hawthorn bushes in full bloom,as if covered by heavy snow

Both beautiful and fragrant,time for spring to let go

Stand aside and let summer show,and show us all its glory

Long gone are the April showers,please tell us a different story

As Young leaves grow and shine to embrace the on coming summer

Ground covering bluebell woods produce a beautiful number

A gathering of colours and fragrances to delight

To tantalise our senses with Mother Natures might

A new canvas is taking shape,in the form of summer bloom

Like gasps as a beautiful lady appears,and walks into the room

To enjoy all seasons in life,that's what you must do

You only get one chance in life,how you do it,that's up to you

For me, I love summer,I'm not keen on winters cold

But that's just my way of thinking,you feel it more,when you start getting old
