The Selfless Brave

The Selfless Brave

Forever young, as they paid the priceĀ
For freedom and pride, their sacrificeĀ
Never to be forgotten, the lives that they gaveĀ
We should never forget, the selfless braveĀ

Now overgrown reminders of the bloodstained battlefieldĀ
A tourist attraction or a pilgrimage, to pay tribute to the slaughterous yeald

The subject is everlastingĀ
The selfless sacrificeĀ
The ancestors of once occupied countries, tend to the fallen’s graves, to keep them niceĀ

They will never be forgottenĀ
These heroes that we boastĀ
Standing tall and a proud hand on our heartsĀ
As they play, The Last Post

WE WILL REMEMBER THEMĀ

A VEIL OF MOONLIGHT
