A Chautauqua On Love Writing

A Chautauqua On Love Writing

You're repeating yourself, again and again, aren't you?
How do you do it, lapped up, sometimes reluctantly,
coerced, nursed, ironically the success rate is worst,
no one says an adverse word, they can't leave them to you.

No matter, or rather yes it does matter, if I don't tell you,
no one else will - you may say, what do you want me to do?
'Temper' it mon ami, we need some more mystery,
not the same cloying, determined predictive outcome.

Don't use events if you don't know what they mean,
don't sell yourself to the devil, ie, this is the way
it's going to be, there may be improvement without success,
you can not keep the entitlement that you know best.

I gained acolades by not knowing what to do,
I learned the best - it didn't have to be from you.
