Poem -

A CHILD'S DREAM

Looking towards the sky on Christmas Eve
A reason to hope and a reason to believe
Hoping that Santa will deliver my wish tonight
Coming down the chimney night stars so bright

My wish is not for a toy, a book or a game to play
It's a hope that the virus will soon go away
Daddy wears a mask every hour of the day
Mummy says that the virus will be here to stay

So as I look at the sky on this Christmas Eve
I will remain positive and try not to grieve
Things have to change in my life they really must
In the meantime I just have to adapt and adjust
