Poem -

A CHRISTMAS TIME

Within the wilderness
A blue snow stretches
Every which way
To an icy pink sky

Here, everything hushes
Leaving only a whisper
Of the loneliest footprint
On earth
Passing by

So, nothing here matters
And nothing much moves
Everything sleeps
In a flat vastness...
Soothed...

By the utter white beauty
Of each memory flake
Each frozen in time
In its own Christmas wake
