A creepy crawly

Cobwebs in the corner betwixt the old wooden beams 
Silky ghostly shreds spreading all along the seams
There’s a hairy, black spider as still as can be dangling on threads directly over me

This clandestine creature knows I am there covered in cobwebs from  gossamer hair 
It doesn’t move a muscle but it is well aware
as I lie looking at it on my back I stare

If I move myself from my bed below will this creepy crawly see and know ?
What if all of a sudden it falls from it’s sticky thread ? and lands upon my weary head 

So I dare not jump for fear it will fall from the old wooden beams that are attached to the wall
But amidst the moonlight I see it crawl
Oh my God I don’t like this scarey situation at all
