A DANGEROUS ADDICTION

 
Dying in silence because nobody wants to know 
The only option is death is painful and slow 
Heroin and cocaine she's addicted to both 
Cold turkey an option but she's broken the oath

Her arms are marked where the drugs have been
Her legs are fully covered and rarely ever seen 
How she wonders did she ever get to be this way
Was it her own fault or did others come into play

Death she thinks now will be a welcome release
She will be calm at last and find inner peace 
There is nothing left except to say goodbye 
Alone always alone and tonight it's time to die
