A Depression Melody

Although I see the light
The tunnel still seems incredibly dark
I barely see to the other side
The darkness is closing in
And my breath is coming harder
Could this be the end?
As the darkness continues to surround me
And the the walls are closing in
How long until it all comes crashing around me?
Everything seems so pointless
As I can't help but think of death as an escape
What is actually the point of this
Let's just leave the decision up to fate?
