A DREAM

A DREAM

I met you in a dream.
Your hand was warm
For an unbelievable reason.
You may not know
that our dream is the only place
I saw your smile.
I wish I hadn't woken
We still hide behind the dreams
Like flowers on the road
We are still without embrace
Alone in the tales of the night.
We still lie on the dry sand,
Singing old songs.
We are still bodies
Growing in the heart of the night
With wandering souls.
