A DREAM AND A KISS

What an exhausting dayÂ
My bed calls out to me
My tired body answeredÂ
Effortlessly I drifted off to sleepÂ
The clouds caught me
I said goodbye to my habitationÂ
Not knowing of my nights destinationÂ
For sleep can feel like a gentle hug
Or a scary roller coaster ride
Either way I climbed aboardÂ
And submitted to its reinsÂ
Snapshots of the unknownÂ
Dazzled my mind
As though I was wide awakeÂ
At the worlds fare
Flashing lights, beautiful lightsÂ
And glances of smiling facesÂ
Invades my travelsÂ
I seem to know them allÂ
But nameless they remainedÂ
In the vault of my mind
Then I saw youÂ
In a field of creations most beautiful gardenÂ
So happy cheerful and free
You beckoned to meÂ
I responded with love
And you kissed me out of sleep.
