Poem -

A Father's Love

I always wanted, to know
Where I came from,
So I had to go

I remember the tears
Falling down your face
I left all of those years
And that lovely place

And when it all crashed
You were by my side
When I was afraid
To sleep at night
And when I burned
You refused too turn
You wrapped me up
With a father's love

You never ran away
You always held me tight
And when I'd cry
You put up a fight

And although I'm not
The perfect son
You make sure
Your work isn't done
You still hold me up
With a father's love
