Poem -

A FATHERS WILL

Anger slowly brews in side
Like the oceans tide its high
Feeling weak and feeling pain
Is no way for this emotional strain.

I wish for the waves to come crashing down
And wash over my anger for it to drown
Then the storm will come to a stand
As i am finally at ease with who i am.

For i am not wrath and i am not weak
I stand for my honour i am not bleak
Tho these people cause me pain
I only fight for my son this is no shame.

And this is my weakest moment you'll see
For my soul is intact for the future i see
So dont try and break me its not ment to be
Cause you'll show me your hand and what a mistake that will be.

This is no threat its a promise to be the
Best man i was and the best i can be
Cause thats all that matter a father i will be
Thats who i am now no going back for me.

Great poem it reminded me of the “pursuit of happiness”
were the father only cared about a better life for his son and nothing else
