A fine kettle of a fish !!?

Mr Sun has got his hat on hip hip hip hip hooray tho here is me sat in the shade along an alleyway
Some people love to sunbathe underneath that currant bun yet I get too hot and bothered in the severity of the sun

So I sit with a water pistol spraying cold water from the spout and my pretty patterned paper fan wafting back and forth, this is me without a doubt
Isn’t it a fine kettle of a fish ? 
I am either too hot or cold with no happy medium... I wish !!

Is it me being ridiculous or am I simply getting old ?
But I feel the summer’s are getting hotter and the winter’s are too cold
Oh woe is me tho I shouldn’t be complaining but the reality of it all is I am dripping and draining 
The sweat from my neck is running like a river soaking my knickers and making me shiver

Ah well never mind I guess I shall have to make do 
At least the birds are singing on the branches of my trees and the sky is blue
It is a beautiful midsummer’s day
and we all have to enjoy it while it lasts coz there is thunder on the way
