A FOOTBALLER'S WAGE

I don't quite agree with the money they earn
With wages like theirs they have money to burn
Sure I love the game that they play
Just wish it was for lower pay

When they score that goal or make that save
Do they think of hospital staff courageous and brave
They in my opinion should earn more than you
For the most fantastic work they always do

Analysts will say it's about supply and demand
That I don't agree with and can't understand
Running around for ninety minutes on a football pitch
Surely they don't warrant to be that fabulously rich
