A Gallery

Memories painted in my mind in oils and water colors
Some in youthful, happy colors, painted with optimism.
Are you there?
Are you part of my landscape?
I I hope so, guppies and parakeets, ponies and puppies
Mom and Dad
Mom and Dad
The times like getting new shoes for first grade
Like hearing the stories about the pilgrims and all the poor turkeys
I was an activist at a young age
The leaves my mom and I collected and I took to school
The Halloween my mom was a witch and came to school
The night my kitten got lost in a treeΒ
My Dad had to go and get him
The Christmas holidays and lights and trees.
The Suzie homemaker kitchen and the 7 puppies my dog had
When as a woman I had a child and my Mom came to help
The wise calm exterior and down to earth ways
She was my rock
I did roll away from her with lifes crap and my self centered nature.
I miss those masterpiec days
I sit now I n the gallery and dream.
