A gift to me

I write about you, not because I'm still heartbroken, but because it's easy.

I suppose you're my muse, in the most insane sense.

It's effortless to conjure up the feelings I had when you shattered my soul in pieces.

There's just so much material there, I don't think I'll ever run out.

And if you ever still peer at my page, I hope you know that I'm grateful that you have given me a lifetime of words to write, and not one is a gift to you. ~kjl
