A GLASS OF HOPE

Hello, my angels,  I hope you are all doing well and staying safe.  It seems people are still taking risks and putting more people in danger.  If they don't care about themselves, at least care about who you could be infecting. 

And I can't believe that the President is doing the same.....him and his goonies are standing shoulder to shoulder....wearing no masks or gloves.....when asked why....with a smirk he replies "I feel healthy"......what, he thinks he's invincible????  What about the hands he is shaking....if anyone has the virus....everyone he touches has the virus as well....and he's putting EVERYONE IN DANGER..... I'm embarrassed that he was voted president as he can bark orders and rules, but he's not WALKING THE TALK

TO OUR LOVED ONES, OUR COURAGE AND OUR RESILIENCY
KEEP FOCUSED, STAY BUSY, SO YOU’LL HAVE NO TIME FOR WORRY
LEARN SOMETHING NEW, TRAIN YOUR MIND, YOU’RE IN NO HURRY
MY ANGELS, I OFFER YOU A GLASS OF HOPE
AS WELL AS TOOLS AND STRATEGIES TO HELP YOU COPE
SAY A SILENT PRAYER FOR THOSE THAT HAVE DIED
AND A PROMISE, MY ANGELS, THAT WE WILL SURVIVE
YOUR DEATHS, MY ANGELS, WERE NOT IN VAIN
AND AS WARRIORS, WE PROMISE WE’LL THRIVE AGAIN
LET’S RAISE A GLASS TO THOSE ON THE FRONT LINE
THEY GIVE THEIR LIVES AND SELFISHLY GIVE THEIR TIME
TO STOP THE VIRUS IN IT’S TRACKS
BUT, THE LIVES IT CLAIMS, WE CAN’T GET BACK
STAY STRONG MY ANGELS, WHILE IN QUARANTINE
IT’S TIME TO WORK ON YOUR GOALS AND YOUR FUTURE DREAMS
BECAUSE THE TIME WE ARE GIVEN, MUST NOT GO TO WASTE
TAKE YOUR TIME, LEARN SLOWLY, NO NEED FOR HASTE
BUILD FOR TOMORROW, WE STILL HAVE A CHANCE
I KNOW WHEN WE GET OUT THERE, THE WHOLE WORLD WILL DANCE
WE’LL DO THIS TOGETHER AND IN ONE HEARTBEAT
YOU WILL FEEL THE WORLD ROCK WITH HAPPINESS, BENEATH YOUR FEET
