COVID-19

Our city is vacant and silent
As new measures are put into place
The COVID-19 virus is out there
And it's trying to wipe out the human race

Listen, be mindful and think twice
Because you're playing with your own life
If you get infected because you are stupid
You're causing our health workers so much more strife

What's happening isn't what God had planned
This virus doesn't play by the rules
Now it's loose and we must stay inside
And if you go out there, then angel, you are a fool

We cry for our friends and our families
Because we didn't get a chance to say goodbye
They died alone in a hospital bed
And we could not be by their side

So, wake up my friends and LISTEN
Because we can still rewrite our story
But if you don't listen and you go outside unprotected
Then be warned because you will be sorry
