A glimpse of the sun

Young love,
Like an early am drive,
Is an open highway.
No traffic but so alive.
The life of love,
Is like a sun.
It brings the day.
Sunrise,Ā
sunset,
But never goes away.
As the day goes by,
AndĀ more passengers arive,
Travel next to you,
Hoping to get in your lane
Or pass you by,
Interferance plays.
You have to let em go,
Sing sweet love songsĀ
When dead air comes on the radio.
Cling together to get you through.
Trust and hope are like new tires,
They carry you.
Put in gas to ignite the fire,
Keep moving on down the wire.
Adjust to the weather, windows up, wipers on.
Find that lonesome love song,
the reason you'reĀ still holding on.
Turn it up and stay in your lane,
Dont pull off the road when it brings you pain.
Although it might make you go insane.
And if you make the right choices,
And cling to the wheel and tires,
ignoring passerby voices,
You can make it to the end of the road, where the sun expires.Ā
Love is a journey that'll cost you your all.Ā
That doesnt mean it isnt worth the fall.
It means everything to those who find
The place in a heart you can set your mind.
The road that leads you back to home,
When all the work and travellings done.
Its every thing i want and more...
Theres so much love i have in store.
A caring heart forevever more,
Crossed and cracked like the lonely road...
Hoping against hope she will take me home.
