Poem -

A Grain of Sand

I am small

I do not mean I am short

I mean

I am small

I am like a snowflake

There are billions of them

And they are all different

But you don’t don’t look at them all separately

You just go it is snowing

I am like a grain of sand

I’m not cut the same way as the other

But you don’t go

“Look at that grain of sand”

You go

“Look at all the sand”

That is what I mean by I am small

I am unique

But I am the same

And I’m not even unique

In this world there are 6 other people identical to me

There are other snowflakes that match my pattern

I am just one person in

Seven

Comma

Three

Four

Seven

Comma

Zero

Zero

Zero

Comma

Zero

Zero

Zero

People

I am worth like less than a dime in Bill Gates pocket

Less

Than

A

Dime

They say we are worth a million bucks

They say we can make a difference

But how can a grain of sand

Or one snow flake

Change the pattern
