Poem -

A guilty comparison

Twas all over the hill
Where the Wild flower grew.

I knew that for me

This was one which to keep

Though my bird narily flew.

But on the other hill

Where sun hit just right

The bees gathered

And over would fight.

Bright as these new flowers were

On the other hill over the way

I could see how forgotten

Was the Wild flower's day.

I've read this a few times to capture the beauty, your title is wonderful, the imagery is delightful I can see it all, the birds and the bees and that very delicate touch of forgotten by the end. 🌹

I like this Wonder full. I've been known to be called once or twice in my time a Seeker. So I do tend to believe in the Wonderful lol

You are indeed a seeker, another word curious you are also a very gentle soul timid and sometimes insicure at least on the internet, just as well we found eachother as I'm a tiger, I will find your soul always! And your poetry well, it's wonderful because you always write from your heart and I as a fellow writer always feel it. 🌹

It's true, and I hope I don't big note myself when I say I'm a raw nerve. Really it's not as nice as people would have it sound. But I'm glad for you to be a reader of mine.

I think you have a raw nerve rather than you are one, it's ok, we all have a raw nerve even me. 🌹

Rereading as I do, thank goodness for you Harrison and a thank you Marion too, because if I had bared my soul, as you say I do, and nobody found it any good, I might well have to reevaluate my entire being 🤣

I may be something of an empathy. Find myself guilty about lots in life, but better than the alternative
