A Kiss
who would have known
that a day like today existed
where one brief encounter
could change my way
the sun sparked and warmed my soul
the lavender bathed my heart
making me whole
your smile danced
a vision beheld of loveliness
who would have known
that a day like this could exist
when our lips finally met
I was yours
inside that first breathless kiss
