A Life .. Sadly Lived
There was never really
that much
to say at all about
his life, that is ..
In fact, they managed
to say everything
in just seventeen words
and three
separate lines, well placed

Neville this has had me thinking. Because I could read it in more than one way. First way is I feel like you’re describing someone’s obituary and how sad it is that a life can be condensed into such few words. There is this emptiness that weighs heavy as you read, a real sadness.
The second way is that this is a daily report written for someone being supported. Who’s life only ever amounts to three lines a day. A life repeatedly going through basic motions and not truly living.

Sir NEVILLE!!....once again you have brought out the thinking caps.....and like Gwen it occurred to me that this was referencing an obituary of some kind.....but the word "They" tripped me up and got me to thinking that this could be three lines well placed on a person's headstone??......regardless....it is ALWAYS a pleasure to grapple with your work!!......ALL STARS!!.....Bravo dear poet brother!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo : )
