Without you near I feel emptiness,
The emptiness of our apartment,

The emptiness of our bed,

My lungs empty of breath,

Heart empty of song,

World empty of color.

There's fullness as well,

Eyes full of tears,

Body full of angst,

Heart full of Christ and love for and from you,

Apartment full of pictures,

Full of items pebbled,

Full of traces of you,

And so many firsts,

A future full of so much love,

Full of travel and adventure, 

Full of new experiences together, 

Full of making more memories,

Full of more firsts,

Of laughter, 

Of joy and affection,

So full of color and light,

So full of passion,

And neverending desire.
