A Lifelong Dream
 
From the windswept shores to the flowering meadows
I am no longer just cast in a lifetime of dark shadows
 
He took my heart once turned to stone
Blessed it with love and made it his own
 
All raise your heart’s to the coming of God’s glory
A new chapter to the earth’s never ending story
 
Together we will heal sickness and disease
Learn to walk in harmony and in peace
 
Lord reign down his kingdom come
All rivers of sin will become undone
 
We will set a blazing fire to the night
And praise tomorrow’s dawning light
 
Stone by stone our torn lives we will rebuild
Just like an ancient prophecy now fulfilled
 
The Lord will catch you before the fall
Listen and you can hear his victory call
 
For Jesus Christ the son of God is he
And he has the power to set us all free
 
This world has a wound we can’t conceal
Our savior has the power to love and heal
 
Everyone is looking forward to a brighter day
Imagine there are angels to guide the way
 
Together we walk with our heart’s afire
We can make this world a place we all desire
 
May all the guns and the war simply cease
So we can all live out our lives in peace
 
As the multi-colored leaves float down the stream
Today is just the beginning of a lifelong dream
