Poem -

A Lifetime ago.

A Lifetime ago.

Faraway...

and only a lifetime ago.
I recall the seconds
flowing into the hours
That made yesterday.
You were different
More reserved
Less likely to wound me.
More inclined to hold me.
We revolved around the sun.
Like orbiting satellites
Not aware of other stars
For their light did not shine.
In our world.

Well written. This poem relates to my inborn psyche, in multiple ways.

This is a beautiful piece of poetic prose!!.......a well delivered memory of a past love that is filled with lovely phrasing ~

                                  ~ "Like orbiting satellites
                                      Not aware of other stars
For their light did not shine
                                      In our world"
