A Lot Like You Dad

Dad I hope you know, Why we go toe to toe

Becuz I'm alot of you, You know that too

Stubborn and mean, Loud and seen

Feisty with a bite, Quick to start a fight

Out of control in mind, With ability to be kind

Can love with full force, Gentle moods of course

But if I feel attacked, I'll attack right back

Rarely admit to be wrong, Even if I was all along

I'll push away in time, Act more sour then a lime

Often I feel confused, Seeking to be amused

They fun for a while, Until now they not my style

I'm a bull with horns, And a rose with thorns

But I'm not all bad, Just a rough time I've had

I can be sweet, The person to meet

I can be giving, And make my own living

I have a heart, That's been torn apart

I can charm someone, Use them till I'm done

Then I get bored, Don't need them no more

Hit the road and leave, I'm serious best believe

Feel something for a minute, But this feeling I just can't pin it

Maybe remorse or guilt, Threw away what was built

A bond between two, But something I had to do

Hurt them before you hurt, Always be on alert

Live life in constant change, Then nothing is strange

The fear of stability, To lack independent ability

I share your philosophy, Causing mental catastrophe

Suffering inside and out, What's this world even about

We work to be poor, Unhappy at the core

The rich have it all, But still cry the sad call

This world is a question, What are we destined

I find it funny, We work for money

To have what we don't, And do what we won't

You do only live one life, Treat it like you're wife

Have fun with it & enjoy, Careful though it's not a toy

Who you kidding, I'm up for bidding

I know now you're lost, How much time did I cost
