A Lovesick sonnet

To me, love is the core of all desire
The force that drives us to do risky things
Our bodies a furnace, love is the fire
A precious flower that blooms in the spring
Life without love is winter without snow
Or the summer sun covered by rain clouds
Simple to feel but not always to show
Around every smile is love that shrouds
And if deprived, we sink down the abyss
Compassionate warmth replaced by the frost
With the chills comes darkness induced by mist
Blinded by hate, as a world  we'd be lost
We'd get nowhere if the love were to fade
So in that case, we shall let love parade
