A Man In Heavens’ Best Friend

A Man In Heavens’ Best Friend

My dear boy, our treasured Andrew, I never met you here on Earth;

But your Mother told me all about you, how she loved you right from birth!

Also, that seven saddest years ago, you had to leave her side;

And since that fateful day occurred, all she’s done was cry!

Your Mom and I met just one year ago, on the Cosmo Funnel Band;

And immediately we felt common pain, each other’s did we understand!

For I too lost someone I dearly loved, my precious Nico boy;

To me this doggie was like a son, and brought me endless joy!

Through our grief, your Mom and I, have become very close soulmates;

And we’re planning to all meet in person one day, my wife, your Dad and us have a date!

But I have an idea Andrew, that I know would work out great;

How about if you look my Nico up, and the two of you become mates!

You’ll love him for he’s just like you, his heart is very pure;

I think you two would never part, your love for e’er endure!

And just like here on Mother Earth, he’ll be “A Man In Heavens’ Best Friend”;

And someday when the four of us arrive, we’ll form a sextet, that never will end!

Thank you babes for that it`s just lovely. I`ll bet knowing my Andrew that they have already met because he has five of our dogs over there with him so they will be having a ball over there and Andrew wouldn`t leave Nico out of all the fun you can be sure of that.

Thank you for this one it is beautiful just like you two are.

I love you all

G xx

Hello Larry...

Very sweet tribute to two sweet souls...

Are there clicks in heaven?

KJV

Matthew 18:18

Verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Thank you for sharing...

Hi Sweet Sparrowsong,

What a beautiful God inspired insight into the mere earthly words that I wrote.  You have taken my poem and sent it to the Heavens.  How can I ever thank you.

Hugs, Peace and Love,

xox Larry

Hello Larry...

Those were St. Matthew's words...

There was a time no one could get me to read the bible to...

Save My Soul...

But, the path I was on if I was going to be something decent...

I knew the way I was doing it wasn't going to get me there...

My heart was heavy...

I didn't care about a whole lot of things...

I used to hate people...

When you're hurt by people over and over again it's difficult not to...

Fortunately,  I did have good friends but I met them when I was young and my hell had just begun...

My feelings for them never changed...

I wasn't the best friend to them, but they showed me love and forgiveness...

I love them with all my heart...

I wanted to be a better person and...

It was extremely difficult...

However, my cross I had to carry could have been alot heavier...

Hugs,  Peace and Love

Hello Larry...

God is the potter and I am the clay...

One of the hardest things that I was able to believe fully and completely was...

God loves me!

Thank you Larry and Linda...
