A man of the cloth

A man of the cloth

Church bells will not ring out today with wooden pews empty in a silenced dismay
A sermon is said in solitude as the Priest stands on the pulpit for the greater good
Are his psalms and prayers left unheard ? or has the Lord above heard every word

He recited words with love and hope and prayed that his fellowman would cope, through these tolis and troubles of today with blessings to make them go away
Tho he is just a man of the cloth serving his Lord with no malice nor wroth
He feels the frustration of the future’s forthcoming as his church hears chanting and echoes humming
