Poem -

A Manmade Demon

Dedicated to: Self choice of wrongfully befriending a delightful manmade demon. One that would always be better off left alone and unknown.
In the dark, I lie awake with a voice inside my head that speaks today. To finally face what I have always fought so hard to ignore. Realizing just then that a true fear of what seems to be a journey of endless excitement, is just the beginning of a deceiving mask to hide a path of quick destruction. And what could have been a decent life, will eventually be a nightmare of dark and hollow emptyness. Wake up I tell myself. 10-23-18
