A Mirror In A Joint:
I, don't want to
Fall back in rewind
It's hard, when
You're brought back in time
Reflections can do that
Sorta thing,
The difficult part
Is getting free,
So tell me how,
Please, show me now,
What to do, to be like you
Because at this point
I'm wasting away,
Like my mirror rolled in a joint.
My mistakes are suffocating
And killing me,
Forgiveness is what I need,
God, please
I'm so tired ofÂ
Looking in my reflection
And seeing,
A boy going the wrong
Directions,
So show me how,
I'm begging, Tell me now
How to be like you
To do the things you do
Because at this point
I'm rolled up
Like a mirror in a joint

I went to this Jazz joint in New Orleans one time, Joseph.
There they had the largest mirror behind the most massive wooden bar I've ever seen.
Is it God who you're asking to be like in this?
If so, that's very big shoes to fill.
However, according to scripture we're to try to live a Godly life everyday.
Good luck with those aspirations.
Well penned.

It is about living a Godly life, but mainly not going back to my former self because of how badly that will effect me.
Yes, I understood that, Joseph.
Thank you.
What part of what I said led you to believe otherwise?
