A modern romance

I looked at her, she looked at me, I knew right then we were meant to be.

I took a chance, asked for a dance, this was the start of our romance.

We drank all night, and to my delight she would not take me out of her sight.

I walked her home we were alone, but then I fell upon a stone.

Flat on my face, a drunken disgrace, she looked at me and said your not to my taste.

I'm lying there and to my despair, I'd landed on a rotten pear.

I jumped up quick, which made me sick, I'm going home that'll do the trick.

I've lost my phone so I'm walking home, no taxi to ring and on my own.

And on the way I'll have a pray and talk to god and he will say.

What's meant to be will definitely be, the future is not ours to see, you tried your best now have a rest and finding your phone will be a test. 😂😂
