A Moon Blackened...

A Moon Blackened...

Like a purse, the sky opens,
Stars in the night, sparkle,
Forbidden tales whispered from a moon blackened,
Hear the wind whistle through the rooted tree's,
Listen to the cries of human's on their knees,
Piercing into your soul, tears fell from a broken home,
Through the grass, slithered a beast on it's belly,
The flames burn like hell, I'm a long way from heaven,
As the world weeps, mother nature is losing her love,
Dressed in glitter, she shines through from the clouds above,
As the earth corrodes, the sound of fear is behind caged walls,
The moon hangs like the heartbeat of the forgotten,
Still, it's there yearning to give life, but still blackened,
The echo of pain,
Drowning in silence,
Pillar of midnight,
Dangle with your heavy soul,
A moon blackened...
I hang with you as I go home.

To the world, goodnight.
