A Mysterious Murmuration

Oh my goodness gracious me
I wonder if you’ve ever been fantastically fortunate to see
A mystique mass of thousands
of bustling birds whirling in the sky
Whilst rambling along a meandering country path
Star-struck in awe was I

Murmurations merging, swirling,
swooping high & low
Resoundings of swooshing sounds echoing above as they go
Resembling ‘a hum, muttering, rushing’ & ‘a crackling fire’
As this madness of manic mysterys harmonised higher

A frenzied phenomenon,
An exquisite dance at sundown
Perfect coordination, 
Undulating waves so regally renown 
A breathtaking demonstration
amazingly avoiding collision
A master-stroke of genius nature,
Such a unique mystical vision
