I am a ghost

Having fallen off the tree

Into the river

Swollen and bruised

??

I am a ghost

Having scratched my way

Into existence

And back out

??

I am a ghost

A former self

A piece of dust

Within a speck of light

??

Thou shalt not know

Truth and lies

Made and then stolen

??

I am a ghost

That has risen and sunk

A song without a tune

Amazing Grace

How sweet the sound

??

I am a ghost

Proud and bound

Died 1400 years ago

Risen in the current form

To write a new hymn

On a brand-new day

A ghost of suicide

With all thy wretched mistakes

Ask no questions

I will tell you no lies

??

I was born in a cradle

Died in the footsteps of death

Thou shalt not bear false witness

??

I am a ghost of my former self

Having not seen the outside world for 100 years

Nor do I intend to see the external world

In this sordid hellhole

They call agoraphobia

??

When you came

To remove my body

From it's bed

You could see the pain

The maggots had found beautiful

??

I am your ghost found

Driving along an empty highway

Singing with the spirits

That saved a wretch like me

??

Are you okay?

I am nearly dead metaphorically

But I hope that we will

live to meet

so we must struggle together as one

in the rivers we drown

on

land we dry out

where is Cherie; is she with you

read her the words of the poet

Kahlil Gibran - you know it?

Stay another day. Best from Jai:)

It is very romantic to read your loved one

kahlil Gibran;  have you got the book the prophet?

Dead metaphorically means hard times have

returned.
