The Fall

The Fall

Sultry heat of night in stray,
Beauteous auburn leaves that lay,
Sporadic in twirl upon soil and blade,
Vast in suburb and everglade.

Summer splendour in slumber state,
Dawn of fall, wintry solstice in wait,
Crisp fresh air and Smokey draft,
Embers glow and crimson path.

Shorter days and cooler air,
Pumpkins carved and flair for scare.
Majestic shades of autumn spread,
Till touch of frost upon natures bed.
