Poem -
A NEW START
Life began again for me
When I started writing poetry.
It`s brought me so much pleasure
And this I now treasure.
The words that I write in the black fog of grief
Flood my soul but when I write them down they give blessed relief.
To simply put pen to paper I`ve found comfort and fun
I`ve found a fresh new world
It`s as if my life has changed
Once again it has freshly begun.
When my world was turned upside down
Left for me I found
My lovely treasured Cosmo friends and this writing world
An open door to release.
This saviour of my life has finally given me peace.

poetry is always a great mood lifter and I feel like I've accomplished something if I start to write right away in the AM. but I usually don't get any inspiration till I read at least 20 poems on Cosmo. I love your work Georgina. You are most talented.

Georgina great poem writeing is wonderful thing one day I stop writeing then one day this lady I know who lives here kept showing her poems not like tham and she got one or 2 in the paper so thout I could do better so I wrote one and put in the paper it got put in the paper I was so happy I should thank that lady for getting me back in to writing then one day I metΒ Larry and Linda and sat and talk to tham and showed tham my poem Larry told me about cosmo and his poem so I got in to it and here I am and so HAPPY to be here to so thank you Larry and Linda it has opened up the door that was lock have great day peace and love to you xxoo hugs,

Hi, loved this and the words are so true to life, write it on a piece of paper throw it way it gets it out your head, but now days we use a keyboard then just hit delete lolΒ

I`m thrilled that you too get enjoyment from writing not only your talent for poetry but also your talent for stories they are both a pleasure to read. Don`t throw them out or delete them because we all love your work sweetie. You have amazing talent so don`t stop writing. I only started writing in 2013 and didn`t think anyone would like them and was shocked when I started getting comments on them. Poetry is a great therapy for me as it helps to get all the feelings out of my head and to make sense of them rather than stewing over them. So please keep up the writing as we`d all miss your work and I bless the day that I first read your poems.
