A Nightgale's Friend

A Nightgale's Friend

A NIGHTINGALE'S FRIEND
Β
Β
These feathery and soft who fly aloft,
and sing so frail are called the nightingale.
The songs they sing are special tunes that bring
a sounding tale from their old tree top wail.
Β
Their calls in kind will still your troubled mind.
For all these birds will brave those who are slave
to see their guise that will bless human eyes.
Since those who may soon crave this feathered knave
Β
will be as blessed and pleased to be at ease
and not dismay at being far away.
Now these fine birds have enveloped the words
of gods like Frey whose, thoughts of peace purvey.
Β
Each knows these rhythmic sounds are all around
to please our ear throughout the coming year.Β
Fine days you'll see a nightingale be free
and glance by chance to hear these sounds appear.

The Nightingale and dove both live for love

and help to mend each other's sound ascend.
For all these birds of peace have helped release
their tunes that tend to make our souls transcend.
