‘A nudge & a wink’

Little Molly wore a frightful frown
In her pretty pink floral gown
She scowled & howled at the way she had to dress
This tiny tinker was a tomboy
She hated ‘girly pink’ clothes
So the fact her Mamma made her wear it did annoy

“I like long pants & jeans”
Stomping about full of beans
Molly would strut in a rut at her Mother
But it fell on deaf ears
“Hurry get dressed my children dears”
Mamma’s orders to both Molly & her brother

The thing is Molly’s older brother Tom
Tho he didn’t want to cause any alarm
Absolutely adored everything that was pink
You see tho his Mother didn’t have a clue
Molly was the only one who knew
She would let him know with ‘A nudge & a wink’

So in Molly’s bedroom the two would play
On a rainy, wet day
‘Swapping each other’s attire feeling good
Molly in Tom’s blue best suit 
With his dicky bow tie
& his ‘Coming out of the closet’ understood
