A PIVOTAL MOMENT
IāM AT THE POINT IN LIFE
WHERE A DECISION MUST BE MADE,
DO I TAKE THIS JOURNEY WITH YOU IN THE SUN,
OR SHOULD MY HEART CONTINUEĀ
TO SHELTER IN PLACE.
OUR FIRST CONNECTIONĀ
ENDED WITH AN INFECTION,
WHICH CAUSED A REJECTIONĀ
TO THAT HEARTFELT CONNECTION,
AND WE WENT OUR SEPARATE WAYS.
NOW HERE WE ARE,
TRYING TO REVIVE WHAT WAS,
AND HOPING THAT THIS TIMEĀ
IT EMBODIES TRUE LOVE.
BUT WE BOTH HAVE OUR HIDDEN FEARS,
OF THAT WHICH HAD DISAPPEARED,
AS WE LOOK BACK TO THOSE WASTED YEARS,
AND NIGHTS OF SILENT TEARS.
AND THE TRUTH IS,
MY HEART STILL YEARNS FOR YOU,
AND DAY BY DAY,Ā
MY LOVE GROWS STRONGER,
AND I CANNOT TAKE IT ANY LONGERĀ
OF LIVING MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU.
SO IāLL TAKE THE CHANCEĀ
OF FINDING TRUE ROMANCEĀ
WITH THE ONE MY HEARTĀ
CANNOT RESIST.

i was feeling like this poem was long forgotten my friend.. but it is truly whatās going on in my life right now..
and I write mostly to have my thoughts stored up where I can easily retrieve them.
kinda selfish right? Lol.
